2-10 Hasty Wall Construction. Hasty wall construction is used frequently in the theater of
operations. This type of construction uses less material and requires less time. The panels used most
are end wall and sidewall.
a. End-Wall Panels. The walls at the end of the building have studs that extend to the rafters
and do not require a top plate (see Figure 2-19).
