a. Cover Materials.
The most commonly used cover materials are lamb's wool, mohair,
stippler, and high pile:
Lamb's wool is used for general-purpose painting.
Mohair is especially effective with enamels and rubber-based paints.
Stippler is coarse-textured material that is used to produce a deep stippled finish.
High pile is sometimes referred to as a long-nap cover. It is designed for painting rough
surfaces such as brick, stucco, concrete, concrete blocks, tile, siding, shingles, fences, and
other uneven surfaces.
