A difference amplifier can have input signals that are IN PHASE with each other
(view A), 180 DEGREES OUT OF PHASE with each other (view B) or
OUT OF PHASE BY SOMETHING OTHER THAN 180 DEGREES with
each other (view C).
DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFIER - has two input possible inputs and two possible
outputs. The combined output signal is dependent upon the difference between
the input signals.
