1-4. Summary. This lesson has examined engineer organizational principles
and their application in the task-organization process.
You have
learned that engineer organizational principles were developed as a
guide for the engineer officer who must task-organize engineer
elements to meet the diverse requirements of Army operations.
Remember, engineer organizational principles were derived from
doctrine imperatives of Army operations, and these imperatives guide
the organization of engineer forces. You must be able to identify the
eight engineer organizational principles and the procedures involved
in the task-organization process.
