INTRODUCTION
The advances in the size and complexity of organizations have given rise to the development of a
new type of manager. With commercial Industries and the military establishment growing more
complex, it becomes necessary to devise tools whereby the details and results of operations can
be simplified and presented to the manager in a way that will assist him to make better decisions.
