INTRODUCTION
Many engineer operations require the supply of aggregates and other quarry materials for construction use. As a
military engineer you should be familiar with the product requirements and equipment necessary to produce
finished aggregate from raw quarry material.
Equipment is provided in the military supply system to enable units to meet their aggregate production
requirements. Of this equipment, the crushing equipment is usually the critical item. It must be capable of
receiving reduction and processing, and producing the finished aggregate in sufficient quality and quantity to
meet the job requirements.
