It focuses on the offense and mans and equips itself to provide
mobility and countermobility for flank obstacle protection, hasty
survivability, and combat general engineer support.
(2) Figure 2-2 shows engineers organic to an armored division. These
engineers replace the former organic division engineer battalion
and the corps mechanized battalion normally associated with the
division.
